The BAU is one of the world’s largest and most important trade fairs for architecture, materials, and systems, which takes place every two years in Munich. This leading trade fair showcases the latest innovations, trends, and technologies in the construction sector and is a must-attend event for trade visitors from various areas such as architecture, engineering, construction, crafts, and real estate management. With an enormous variety of exhibitors and visitors from different countries, BAU offers a unique platform for international networking and business opportunities. The fair extends over several halls in which a large number of product groups such as building materials, windows, doors, facades, insulating materials, heating and ventilation systems as well as sanitary and electrical engineering are exhibited.

Additionally, the fair has a large outdoor area, referred to as the open-air area, where large-format exhibits, construction machines, cranes, and construction vehicles, as well as systems and solutions for outdoor use, are presented.

At the last exhibition, the organizers welcomed around 2 250 exhibitors and 250 000 visitors from all over the world.
